Care

Handle your crown gently and always lift it by the main structural wire rather than by individual branches, beads or crystals. THE STORY

Treasures of the Tide

The Mermaid Crown was imagined as a collection of objects carried ashore by the tide — shells, pearls and fragments of light gathered together into a piece that might belong to an underwater court. Crystal beads and glass pearls are worked amongst natural shells and hand-twisted wire, creating a structure that feels irregular and organic rather than symmetrical or formal. The changing surfaces catch the light differently as the crown moves, giving it the shifting quality of sunlight beneath water.
